The first Hermosa concert finally came about this weekend, with a solid turnout for Trevor Hall + Jeremy Buck & The Bang. “Presented” by Saint Rocke, the show was financed by sponsors from around the South Bay. The concerts are always great community gatherings, and there were almost 2,000 people gathered on the beach on a perfect summer evening. Although the HBPD has a supposedly strict alcohol policy for events such as these, they seem to turn a blind eye if it’s a married couple sharing a bottle of wine as opposed to a 22-year old beer bonging a Pabst. The concerts are an excellent way to hang with your neighbors and check out quality bands on a South Bay summer evening….check out the full schedule over at South Bay Events!

That sounds amazing! Thank you SBE…I’ll def go to the next one on the 12th. Speaking of beaches, the best beach workout in L.A. is right down the road from Hermosa!
